The Purple Stone Home Defrosting Tray is a FDA certified, extra thick conductive aluminium defrosting tray that is dishwasher safe. The Purple Stone Home Defrosting Tray is designed to thaw frozen meat, fish and vegetables. Its unique ability to naturally and efficiently thaw food, as well as retain nutrients, quality and flavor demonstrates the benefit of it compared to other methods such as microwave ovens or the application of hot water, where these elements are often lost.
How Does It Work?
The Purple Stone Home Defrosting Tray is made of high quality aluminium. Its high capacity to conduct heat combined with extra thickness and deeper channels accelerates thaw time.
Heat moves rapidly through the food as the trays wide channels allow more air to flow throughout. Additionally, residual water from the defrosting process deposits in run off channels, retaining maximum contact surface area between food and the Purple Stone Home Defrosting Tray. Our tray has been tested against conventional defrosting trays and has been found to be twice as fast.
